Opening of the article

The bone hardness is the percentage of bone minerals as compared to total body weight and is measured by a bone density measure ment. There are several methods in practice to measure bone mineral content and density such as X-rays, Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA or DXA), densiometry CT and MRI . Some of these methods are non-invasive, time-consuming, cost effective and involve exposing patients to radiation.
